The Rajasthan Highcourt on thursday revoked 99 years lease of Jalmahal and 100 acre land, which was given to a private firm by the state government.

While canceling the license of the Jalamahal Resort Private Limited, the court ordered to remove all the violation in that area and to bring the monument in its old format.
Defence Ministry has given an approval to the Greenfiled International Airport.Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma met to Ashok Gehlot, CM of Rajasthan and discussed about various development issues in Rajasthan.

He said that location for the airport has been selected in Kotcasim in Alwar District. He said that shortly he will meet to Civil Aviation Minister regarding the different issues of Airport.

The World Most Famous Urs Mubarak Festival 2012 of Darbar Khwaja Garib Nawaz Dargah Ajmer Sharif is going to begin on 22 or 23 may 2012. Northern Railway has decided to run a special train for the facility of Pilgrims.This special train will run from Chhapra of Bihar to Ajmer Shareef in Rajasthan via Lucknow and Agra.
This special train will depart from Chhapra on 25 may at 8:30 pm and it will arrive at Ajmer on the next day. On 30 may it will depart from Ajmer at 6:30 pm and it will reach Chhapra on 9:30 on next day.Railways have also decided to run one special train each to Ajmer from Beas in Punjab and Bhagat Ki Kothi in Rajasthan.
Due to the irregularities of Rajasthan Tourism Department Corporation(RTDC) general sales agent(GSA) RTDC lose Rs 18 cr. GSA should informed about the cancellation of the confirmed tickets but they dint informed.

Cancellation figures (for season 2010-11) provided in the annexure tells that, 1161 advance cabs were booked by 8 GSAs in Palace Of Wheels, but 672 were actually travelled in and the remaining 479 were cancelled without intimation. In the same way 241 cancellations occurred by 5 GSAs in the Royal Rajasthan On Wheels, totaling of Rs18.03 crore.
